Signature edit field not showing in Profile CP

Postby psycle_1 » Fri Jan 11, 2008 9:00 am

First of all, great mod! I haven't had any spammers try to register since I installed this mod. Second, I have to disclose that I'm a complete beginner with phpBB, so bear with me.

After installing the mod, the edit field for signatures is not appearing in the profile CP. Board is at http://www.buwaldahybrids.com/phpBB. Can someone take a look at this and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

You do not have the Anti-Spam ACP modification installed.

Could you attach your profile_add_body.tpl file for whatever style you are using so I can take a quick look?

Could you attach it to a post instead of pasting it up here? Posting it breaks all the formatting and makes it difficult to read.

It appears you have another mod installed that adds a switch to both the website field and the signature field. Do you know which mod you installed did that?

Not sure what you mean about txt/tpl being attacks?

i belive thats the mod called Configure Member Profile Required Fields it makes certain fields requiered on registration.

the txt/tpl being attacks is when i try to attach a file with that extension here in the forums. nothing to do with youre mod just a comment :)

That couldn't be it. The switches are setup to only show those fields if the user is logged in.

You should be able to attach txt/tpl files here. You may have gotten told you couldn't attach a tpl file, but I added the extension so it should be allowed now.
