Run the ads/uninstall.php file in your browser

When I said I had uninstalled/reinstalled, I meant that I used the ads/uninstall.php to do so. In some cases, I used the uninstall script and simply accessed the install script again. In other cases, I uninstalled (via the script), yanked the relevant files off the server, reloaded them, and then tried again from scratch. Or at least I thought that would be the case.

What can be done to make sure I'm starting from scratch?

That error should definitely not keep happening.

Remove the edit from includes/functions.php

Run the ads/uninstall.php
Then go to ads/database.php and run the installer and see if any errors are reported

Hi!

I`m thinking about using OpenX for ads on my phpbb-forum. That means that I`ll get a code from OpenX that I need to paste into overall_header.html where I want the ad to display.

Can I simply paste this code into the "Ad-code" box and make it work this way?

I've skimmed most of this topic and searched and found several things but I'm still having a couple issues. One of the issues is the counter. Its not working. I am using the style prosilver SE. I have the ads.js in the regular prosilver folder and added to the SE version once i noticed it wasn't working but its still not adding clicks. My code looked like this: <a href="http://www.insertwebsite.com" target="new" {COUNT_CLICK} ><img src="img/voting/insert.jpg"></a>

Done and refreshed everything else. Any other suggestions?

I was having an issue with the {ADS_8} spot. Its the one below the footer. Its not as important but... It doesn't keep the look of the others. It creates a blue bar that's 100% of the screen width. I got it to show the borders for round edges but I cant seem to make it 900 pixels wide. I guess its because it drops below the rest of the template. Is there a fix for this?

Edit**

Ok I got it to center with only a 900 pixel box but with out the corners now. Its fine like it is. I'm happy with it but i still have the issue with the count clicks.

Thanks a bunch.

That's not proper HTML. Try:

<a href="http://www.insertwebsite.com" target="_blank" {COUNT_CLICK}><img src="img/voting/insert.jpg" /></a>

:/ Still nothing. I used your exact re-write and just copied my stuff back in. I refreshed everything as well. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Everything else works perfect. I even fixed the second issue so that it has the same bordered look as the rest. Looks nice. Everything is enabled. The ad views feature works. Ill keep working on it. If you have any other suggestions please let me know.

Thanks a bunch.
